Chopped

I love that show on The Food Network. But, this post doesn't have anything to do with the show. Sorry.

Today, after bible study, I'll be busy in my kitchen most all afternoon (and maybe into the evening). I'll be chopping veggies and roasting beef for our churches annual Harvest Party tomorrow. George and I make an outdoor kettle full of tummy warming goodness. There's nothing like vegetable beef soup that has been simmered all day. Mmm, Mmm, good!

  1. Hi Kristie!! Oh my, doesn't that look delicious? I know how much you look forward to this every year. Enjoy & have a fantabulous weekend. I hope the 3 musketeers are doing well. (And Meatball!)

PS: I love "Chopped" also. :o)

  3. Is this the bonfire party you have every year?! The soup looks delish! I'm sure cooked over an outdoor fire makes it even more scrumptious!

It's hard to believe it's October already! It won't be long now and we'll be setting our tables for Thanksgiving!! :)

  5. The party went great, Lettie. Check out the new post.

Yes Judy, this is the one we've been having for years. It's so fun to gather everyone together...especially when the weather cooperates.

I'd rather hand deliver it to you , Vic! :)
